Terms of Service

1. Accounts and access

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your contact information accurate and up to date.

2. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service or attempt to access it using a method other than the interface and instructions we provide. You agree not to interfere with the service, other users, or security controls.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans, seat limits, and billing terms are defined in your order form or subscription plan. Taxes may apply. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.

4. Data and privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You remain responsible for the content and data you submit to the service.

5. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the service, software, and documentation. You retain ownership of your data. Except as expressly granted, no rights are transferred.

6. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anydefect will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Authorized scanning

By connecting a cloud environment, Microsoft 365 tenant, domain, repository, or any other target to Anydefect, you represent and warrant that you are the owner of, or are explicitly authorized in writing by the owner to perform security assessments on, the target infrastructure. Anydefect scans only the targets you configure and initiates no scan without your explicit instruction.

You accept sole responsibility for ensuring that scans are permitted under applicable law, your organization's policies, and any third-party agreements (including cloud provider terms of service). Anydefect accepts no liability for unauthorized scanning resulting from credentials or targets you supply. Misuse of the scanning capability to target infrastructure you do not own or are not authorized to assess constitutes a material breach of these terms and will result in immediate account termination.
